Empty Bowls
Join the Syracuse Ceramic Arts community at an Exhibition and Fund-raiser to benefit the Inter-Religious Food Consortium(IFC). With a $100 donation, you CAN help fill Empty Bowls in Syracuse! Your donation entitles you to the Empty Bowls Opening Reception which will be held on Friday, October 8, 2010 from 5:30 pm until 8:00 pm. You will enjoy refreshments while making a selection of your favorite Empty Bowls which were handcrafted and donated by local ceramic artists. You will also be invited to attend the Empty Bowls Event, which will be held on Friday, October 22, 2010 from 5:30pm until 8:00 pm. You will be able to pick up artwork, enjoy refreshments and friends, and learn how your donation helps fill empty bowls in Syracuse. While this is not the traditional "Empty Bowls" event, we hope it will be just as successful. The artwork is being donated by selected ceramic artists in the community.
Their work would be considered a welcome addition to any ceramic collection. Please contact us here at Clayscapes Pottery if you would like to be included in the invitation list.
